Why RTL requires separate attention
In an RTL document, it is not only the text direction that changes. The direction of blocks, tables, captions, numbering and elements that remain LTR has to be coordinated. These issues are especially visible in multi-page technical and corporate documents.
What DTP includes
- placing RTL text into the existing document structure;
- coordinating RTL and LTR in mixed layouts;
- working with tables, headings and graphics;
- final checks of pages and reading direction.
Translation can be performed by your translator or translation company; my task is to assemble the final document correctly.
